The Winter 2015 ARRL School Club Roundup is almost here. Pinewood Christian Academy is once again entering in the Elementary/Middle School Class using the Boy Scout radio call sign KB4SA. We’re inviting ClayARES members to be mentors for the students as they make contacts with students throughout North America and beyond. Any licensed amateur radio operator associated with ClayARES is welcome to assist. Operation will take place February 9-13 (except Thursday), 1530-1830 local time. In October we placed 4th with 13,161 points (123 contacts, 30 states, 2 DX).
ALL ADULTS PARTICIPATING IN OR VISITING THE SCHOOL DURING THE SCHOOL CLUB ROUNDUP ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE SAFECARE TRAINING AND BACKGROUND CHECK.

Once you have completed SafeCare, please let me know by email so that I can notify the office staff. This training and background check are kindly provided by Pinewood Christian Academy, so there is no cost for this service.
